Masonic Youth Scholarship

2026-2027 Scholarship Application Details

We are now accepting nomination forms for the 2026-2027 school year on behalf of Children and Grandchildren of living Oklahoma Master Masons.

{ Please note - nomination forms must be submitted every year. }

Youth Order Members do not need nomination forms; they will be emailed individually.

A Master Mason must fill out a Nomination Form, sign it, and mail it to the Foundation office to nominate his child or grandchild. The form confirms the child or grandchild’s relationship to the Master Mason and provides contact information. Once a nomination form is received, the office will contact the student directly with the link to apply for a scholarship. A digital copy of the 2026-2027 School Year's Scholarship Nomination Form can be found on this page or it can be emailed to you if you contact us at information@mcfok.org.

Historical Program Information:

The decision was made to include children and grandchildren of Master Masons and the Youth Order members beginning in the 2025-2026 School Year. This decision came after several discussions and approval by the Grand Lodge, Foundation Board of Directors, and the Education Committee.

Eligibility Criteria and Scholarship Information:

The Foundation will use a rubric to score applications. The rubric will allow us to consider financial need and academic performance. Also, Youth Order membership will be considered as an ode to the scholarship program’s original intentions and development. Scholarships are $2,000 per semester if the student continues to meet the required criteria. Please see below for eligibility criteria.

  • Applicants must personally represent the teachings and ideals of the Masonic fraternity. They must be members in good standing or a majority member of Oklahoma DeMolay, Rainbow, or Job’s Daughters. IF they are not a member of a Masonic Youth Order, they must be a Child or Grandchild of an Oklahoma Master Mason.

  • Applicant must be a graduating high school senior, vocational student, college undergraduate, or post-graduate student under 30.

  • Students who have previously received scholarships from the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma are encouraged to apply. The limit on scholarship awards is ten semesters for undergraduates and eight semesters for graduate students. Returning college students must provide an official transcript demonstrating a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale. Vocational students must provide a statement of satisfactory progress.

  • High School seniors who apply must provide documentation of a minimum ACT Composite score of 20. This requirement is waived for vocational or trade school students.

  • Applications must be submitted online with all required documents no later than May 1st. Incomplete applications may be disqualified.

  • Scholarships may be applied to any accredited trade or vocational school, college, or university within or outside Oklahoma.

  • Scholarships are awarded for the school year. Scholarship funds not used in one semester will be considered forfeited. Scholarships will be deposited with the applicant’s school of choice. Funds may be used for tuition, books, supplies, and other educational costs.

  • Full-time enrollment for students who have not yet achieved a Bachelor’s degree is considered twelve credit hours or more. For graduate students, full-time enrollment is deemed to be six credit hours or more. Full-time students will be given priority in awarding scholarships.

  • Students with less than full-time enrollment must be enrolled for no less than half-time, or six credit hours for undergraduates, or three credit hours for graduate students. The amount of the scholarship award will be prorated.

Please do not hesitate to contact the Foundation office with any questions.
